Vive La France: true some hate the French, true sometimes I hate the French with their great cheese and amazing architecture, and fantastic boulangeries, and Eiffel Towers, and and and wait...I don't hate the French, I love almost everything about them and their country. {brief list of things I don't like: their lack of shaving arm pits, their lack of drinking fountains, their lack of high concentrate aluminum compounds in deodorants} So of course when Melissa B. decided to throw Melissa M. a french baby shower, I was thrilled I got to help. Sadly I didn't get to attend but rumor has it, it was parfait. In my absence I sent these:

French flag royal icing sugar cookies as favors

cake balls because they are so easy but for some reason wow crowds

raspberry macarons because they are quintessentially French and fabulous.

have no fear I did not do this alone, I had sous chefs: Zoe and Melissa B. :) what this does not show is how much they actually helped. But I still think it's a funny pic. Also it should be noted the bowl of creme puffs was turned into a croque en bouche that apparently took a tumble just before the shower :(
